I reluctantly have an account with standard bank, my accounts are in credit but I am not using them, standard bank want me to use them! They have therefore told their credit rehabilitation department to harass me.by calling me twice a day demanding that I hand over personal information to them over the telephone to confirm who I am before they will tell me why they are calling me. I keep telling them that I will not give my personal information over to them to confirm who I am as I have no confirmation of who they are. I have asked them to have a manager call me but they refuse to do that until I confirm the personal details, I have told them that they can mail me or write to me as they have those details, but no, it must be their way or no way (although I am the customer & it is my money that I pay over to them in fees that keeps food on their tables). Standard bank is the most arrogant & useless company I have ever had contact with & I HATE being one of their customers! I have already moved both my business accounts over to First National Bank & I will be closing my personal accounts & moving them over to First National Bank as well. GOOD RIDDANCE STANDARD BANK!!!
