I have registered a claim on Saturday morning 7.7.2013 around 9 am. Ref. 12298. When I phoned on Tuesday the claim was still not registered. I phoned yet again (another ref no. 2412492) to follow up and I still nothing happened. I sit with a room without a ceiling and I want it repaired. I mean that's why I pay every month. Nobody has contacted me to send out anybody to assess the damage? How long will this take? Must I be on the lookout for another bank with better response time or what? I really think this claim was and still is handled very poorly. Tomorrow will be a week and if I did not follow up I would not have heard anything from ABSA home insurance. PATHETIC!!!
