Debit account without authority

On Wed 08:18 10th July, I got a sms stating that Nedbank took 1149.93 from my account for a credit card of 2007, that same day, without a phone call or arrangements, they money in my account I didn't't have, So our money is not safe at Nedbank. My account is in a minus and I was charged a 90 rand fee for not having the funds available. I contacted Legal and spoke to Patrick, he said sorry they can't help me and that they will not deposit money back into my account, reason being I owe Nedbank that money from the year 2007, how can someone, just take money from your account without any authority, Is our money not safe anymore, No where did I sign a paper stating Nedbank can take money on my account as they wish, thats. And this morning they sent me a sms my account is overdrawn please rectify. Nedbank is the worst bank ever, nobody takes the time to go out of there way to help a client or to assist. I REGRET for opening an account with Nedbank . there is more problems than trying to assist a client, not ever did I see a bank money from your account with any written prove that they may do so? Definitely taking this matter further.
