In April 2013, I received a call from a consultant who told me that they have received my pension withdrawal documents and that they will be forwarding more information to me, again in the beginning of May I received an sms indicating that a pension withdrawal document was submitted to the provident fund department, the sms provided two refeference numbers, and todate I still did not get any communication from old mutual. I was withdrawn from the fund since March and todate there is no correspondence from old mutual as to whether my funds will be paid or if there is anything that needs to be signed. I also want to know if these funds will accrue interest since they are being kept by old mutual.this is the fourth month and I still do not know what is happening with my provident fund. I tried to call the call centre number on numerous occassions with no success. I need feedback as soon as possible.
