Anks and online gambling

I connected to a overseas gambling site after going through a massive screening process for my own safety .i deposited 1500ZAR from my Standard Bank cheque account to the site without any hassles.after a few days I won 8000ZAR and i decided to cashout. management informed me via email that the funds were paid to moneybookers.i then transfered the money to my account. after 2 days international banking division of standardbank phoned me and a very indian lady asked me were the money came from and I said moneybookers and then she asked me for what it was i told her it was for online gambling, she put me on hold and came back and told me that standardbank is not going to release the money cause it is illegal to gamble online. I asked her were this is advertise cause i have never seen anything regarding this. i also asked her if it is illegal how can Standardbank allow funds to go out to a online gambling site but cant give me my money and she couldnt give me an answer. She never gave me a refrence nr after a month I phoned standardbank back and they said the money has been released to the Reserve bank. Please help how can they alllow money to go out but not pay me
