Waiting 11 days so far to get homeloan approved

I have submitted all relevant documents on the 27 of June to apply for a new homeloan, today is the 8th of July, and up to now no feedback or approval on my loan. I have a good credit record, and are very unhappy with FNB for telling me every day they would call back, but then they don't. Every day when I call, they say it is with the credit department, but that is where it is for days now. I have now submit my documents with other banks, and hopefully they want my business.
