This is the situation:
I live in Germany and I am wanting to close my Nedbank account.
After spending hours on the the phone with several Nedbank employees I am apparently not able to close a bank account via telephone. Keeping in mind that I have closed my other bank account last month also via telephone. After explaining my situation over and over again I have gotten no help and my last call got cut off. Fact is that I am unable to walk into any Nedbank branch in South Africa because I am in Germany... Anyways there is an available balance of R350 on that account which I am happy to donate towards the Nedbank 2013 National Winter Campaign... They don't seem to be interested in that solution...
And lastly I am not able to use my internet banking to transfer the money off the account because I do not have a SA cellphone linked to the internet banking...
It is very frustrating to contact nedbank from Germany and I would just like to close the account and its so frustrating to not be able to get rid go the account.
I would really like to speak to someone at Nedbank that is willing help with my situation...
