I previously had insurance with a different insurance company and then did the online hippo quote and regent was a cheaper option. I then took my car insurance with regent and even changed my dad's insuracne over to regent. He reported a third party claim on the 17 December 2012 and received an email on the documents that needed to be sent. I am paying for the insurance so I have been handling the paper work for him as he is a 70 year old pensioner. I sent through the requested docs to Matshepo who acknowledged receipt of these docs a few days later. When I emailed again to enquire as to the status quo she indicated that i should contact Khomotso. So i emailed Khomotso a quotation I received for the damages. I received no response. When i called Khomotso today I spoke to a lady that has a total attitude problem and is very arrogant and indicated that she has not even received the docs from Matshepo. The delay in processing the claim is unacceptable and no one even contacts you to provide feedback. I am scared to ever find out what experience i should have should I ever submit a claim and I woould not recommend regent to anyone. Appalled at the service.
