Incompetence of ABSA

My Barclaycard internet banking access was locked. So the customer care told me I must go to an Absa branch to unlock it. So I went to the absa branch yesterday to get it unlocked but there pin pad readers can't read the Barclaycard credit card. And it is not the strip that is damaged because I can withdraw money from the ATM. It took me two hours for nothing I can still not use my internet banking. So why must I pay for internet banking access on my card if ABSA can't even unlock my internet account.
