AVIS had unscrupulously charged me R13, 000 for an accident I had last year with their rental vehicle which was organised via my policy with Alexander Forbes Insurance. After months of fighting with AVIS, Alexander forbes my insurance company was able to reverse the charges and clear my credit record.
Thumbs up to Alexander Forbes for the stellar effort and thumbs down to AVIS for sub par internal processes and shameful management practices.
