I called MiWay yesterday and requested to terminate my policy. I was forwarded to the cancellations department, for which I held very long with no answer. When I called again I was told that all consultants were very busy and I will be called back. Later in the day I called again and the same thing happened. How could all consultants be so busy the whole day to give me a simple call? If I was taking up a new policy I would have been called back in less than five minutes!!
Today I called again and the same thing happened again. I then asked for the direct line to "cancellations" and I was told "there is no line for cancellations". Really? I was then put on hold until I ended the call without speaking to the so-called "consultant" - and mind you, I used my cellphone!!
So when I looked at the whole thing I then thought they were playing a go-slow trick - they were planning to delay so that the debit could go on the 1st. I then decided enough was enough - I called my bank and the bank advised me to cancel the debit order, which I did. The bank is going to issue an instruction that will monitor my acc and decline any debit order from MiWay. Now that's the HighWay!! Disappointed
