Capitec Bank

My employee goes to a Standard Bank ATM in Randburg, enters Capitec card and code. ATM responds with error saying incorrect code. Employee thinks this is strange so cancels transaction. ATM then swallows card & immediately employee gets a cashdrawal SMS from ABSA saying employee withdrew every cent to the nearest R100.00 a total of R2800.00.Employee immedeiately informs Capitec Bank, who say you must come into the branch on the next working day. The employee goes into the branch, completes a withdrawal dispute form and is duly informed that there was in fact an error and the cash is being held by ABSA and you will receive the funds back in 14 days. Employee also goes to the Standard bank asking to get card back from the ATM and is duly informed that they have destroyed the card and keep no record? Capitec phone this week to say, PIN error no funds will be transfered back to the account, lodge a complaint to the Ombudsman! PIN ERROR.If there is a PIN ERROR NO CASH SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISPENSED! No letter from Capitec other than a number of incorrect numbers given by Capitec of who to contact. I can understand why the poor have no leg to stand on as they get ripped of daily, by those they trust
