My name is Jeff, i had an Absa credit card account which i struggled paying as a result it was handed over to attorneys RL Daly Incorporated and made arrangements with them to pay and settle my account which i did settle on the 01-11-2012 with an amount of R992.60 and called them back on the same day to confirm payment. I was told by their consultant that a paid up letter will be send once payment reflects on their account however i never received that letter, instead last week i received an sms from MCI legal which is other attorneys who claims Absa bank have handed over my Absa Credit card with them with an amount of R2 655.25 that i must pay. I am being harassed by this attorneys with disturbing smses everyday to demand payment while i have paid up my account already.
I feel i am unfairly dealt with by Absa and i demand that they get their act together and resolve this mess immediately, by sending me a paid up letter, up date my ITC record, cancel or close off all the accounts that i used to have with them as i don't want anything to do with them anymore.
