In Sept 12 we had a leak in the roof and a plumber was sent to check the leak - got no response as time went by we had occassional leaks which we dried up and checked the roof, tap washers etc.
In March 13 we had a gush of water again. I contacted standard bank and a plumber was sent out - got no response. In June we complained and a builder was sent to check - per the builder the roof needed maintenance. On 15 June 2013 the place flooded and we turned off the water as it was outside of trading hours for standard bank. We got City Council to check if it was perhaps from their side and was advised that we had to contact our insurers. I phoned standard bank and they told me that the onus is on me to prove my claim. I got a plumber in who broke through a wall to find the leak and had their Blue Route branch email them the proof that there was a leak in the pipes. to date I have not received any response to my claim and we still without water. What makes it worst is that my tenant has kemo therapy on a thursday and cannot live in conditions with no water supply. Perhaps there is someone that can assist me to get them moving
