No response to claim

I own a 2012 VW Polo which I insured with Quicksure. In September the vehicle was involved in a minor accident resulting in the damage to the bumper. After lodging a formal claim it took three weeks before the vehicle was assessed and taken to a VW approved repair centre. It took almost a month before the repair centre was authorised to repair the vehicle. The consultant, Ashnee, told me the vehcilcle was a write off, which was as great shock to me. From then many enquiries as to the authorisation for the repair always resulted in her promising that the repair centre has been authorised, a claim the repair centre always disputed. The vehicle was ready in the first week of November. On collecting the vehicle it had a new dent at the rear bumper. I reported this to Quicksure, where I was told the damage had been noted by the assesor but I will be liable for excess although this damage was not part of the initial accident and was new to me. I was also told that here is no guarantee that the excess will be repaid by whoever was responsible. I was promised in November last year that the vehicle will be repaired, now its almost end of January 2013 and Quicksure has not contacted me
