I was a member of Alexander Forbes Pension Fund. About 2 months ago my pension was paid out to me. About a month ago I called the call centre to query why I did not receive a statement. The consultant then explained that I was supposed to have received one, which I explained that I never received one so she then asked her Supervisor if they could mail it to me which was agreed. I still had not received anything in the mail, so a week ago I mailed the helpdesk with a copy of my id and instruction for my statement to be mailed to me. I received a mail from Scott Sinequan advising me he couldn't assist me as my policy has been terminated and they could not pick up any details. I was very frustrated and called the call centre today at 3.10 and spoke to a gentlemen who advised me to fax a letter again and copy of my id after doing a security check with me I refused, and asked to speak to the manager. He then put me through and after holding on the line for 15 minutes was told by an answering machine that the extension was not available and thereafter got disconnected. I am disgusted at the service which I received.
