Why have insurance with ABSA when they dont pay

I have Homeowners insurance with ABSA, and the only reason i took it was because of the fact that ABSA is my bond holder,
We had a powersurge that blew my electric fence energizer and now ABSA claims that it is not covered under my policy? how can that be? its a act of, i did not cause it, now why do i have to sit with the expense of replacing it when i pay insurance?
Should ABSA not pay out the claim i shall be lodging a dispute with the Oumbudsman for insurance aswell as cancelling my Policy and going elsewhere.
