Today I go to absa atm to withdraw my money it then says to me I have an acc problem! So I go into the absa bank to be told my account is unavaiable until iive updated it wich require me to bring in a proof of residince and I.d book! i After I explained To the guy working at absa oakfiled that they should notify clients before doing this! I was not notified and was unawre of what was going on with my acc! I then request to with draw money from the account and I am told I cannot withdraw anything until this is updated! This is unacceptable that they can refuse me my money! And if absa did there job in notify me that I needed to update my acc I would have been able to do so! I do not have proof off residents so i now have to get that. Somehow! I had my I'd book and card with me and They still refused me! I am very annoyed that tonight I cannot feed my family and I cannot afford to do to work till this is sorted! I will be closing my acc with absa bank as soon as I can withdraw my money! This is the second time. This has happened to me! And it will be the last! Really bad service absa!!!
