Confirmed credit card approval over the phone

On the 29th of January 2013 I have received call from Standard Bank confirming I was approved for credit card. On the 30th I received a 2nd call confirming all my details and confirmation of approval. On the 13th of Feb 2013 I received a 3rd call confirming that credit card can be picked up at my branch in Jeffreys Bay between the 15th and 18th of Feb 21013 and I need to provide them with latest payslip and proof of address. On 22nd I visit branch and they did not have any record of this credit card. I phoned Standard Bank on 4 March 2013 and they told me it would take 3-5 working days to short out query, my ref 36813478. On the 14th of March 2013 I phoned them again, they just gave me a second ref nr 32790364 and told me their is no record of the application. I just left it as I thought it was a from Standard Bank, but today I totally lost it when I received a call from Standard Bank confirming that I was approved for a credit card and request my information. I want answers on this ref above and unfortunately only took down two names, Regan and Masopo. Within the next 24 hours I am reporting Standard Bank to the ombutsman if i dont get a call with an answer as to the above.
