I have an Access and investment account with Standard Bank, I have given my required notice for the funds to be transferred from my investment account to my access account, this hasn't happened. Standard Bank also took R1000.00 out of my account for a debt, they provided me with a telephone number for the people who instructed them to take these funds, I cannot get hold of these people as there is a voice recording and no one ever got back to me after I left numerous messages. Is Standard bank allowed to just take money out of my account without consulting me first. Also the Standard bank call centre has tried to put me through to Industria Branch since last week, and the phone just rings, I don't know if anyone works there anymore. They also haven't replied to any of my secure messages that I'v sent them. I just want my money in my account please, I am disgusted with Standard Bank and I have decided that I'm going to close my account and move to another bank that doesn't take people's money without them knowing about it.
