THEY REPLACE A BANK CARD, THEN LABEL IT "REVOKED"

I am an access bond holder of Standard Bank. I was offered a card - the Access Living Card, linked to the bond and able to get me funds through the ATM or to transact in store. I used the card on a few occasions, and after not using it for some time (during which time the debit order for the bond was going through my bank account), I found that one day the card had been blocked. Upon inquiry at the Randburg branch of the bank I was informed that the Access Living card had been discontinued. I was given a Debit Card linked to the bond account, which card I am still using.

Imagine my shock when I tried to get funding from Nedbank and was told that I had been "blacklisted" on internal bank systems as my Access Living Card had been revoked. I have spent the last three weeks, going from pillar to post, including physical visits to the bank in Randburg to get to the bottom of this. All I am told is that the Access Living division has been closed! I was given a reference number (53565763). When I called card division this afternoon, no one seemed to know what I was talking about! Meanwhile my reputation is in tatters! Card division say I must speak to Homeloans! Help!!!
