I was contacted by Standard bank card division to ask where they must deliver my new card as mine was going to expire. I gave them the preferred branch details. Got 2 sms notifications and a phone call still indicating the incorrect branch to collect from. Spoke to them 3 days in a row correcting it over and over and then the promise that the card would be there yesterday - 5th June. Then another phone call about 2 hours later from standard bank to let me know the card is ready to be collected at the WRONG branch?? Tried contacting the branch today via 'branch call centre' hoping the promise would be true with no luck could they put me through - I had to go there then and wow still NO card - MAYBE in another 2 days was the answer. Now this is for a so called "PRESTIGE" client. What happens to the rest??? I think that is why everybody moves to FNB??? Please can they send me forms to close my account. The same thing happened last year with my other card... Really???
