I had submitted a household claim with discovery insure in April, after numerous backwards and forwards, begging for assistant, my claim was eventually REJECTED due to non compliance 6 WEEKS later. Of all the 8 items that had been, we did not comply with giving information on 2 items because of all the frustration discovery insure had caused us by expecting me to do their jobs for them and doing all the running around (who is going to compensate me for that, )I am not employed by discovery insure. So discovery insure rejected the entire claim, ignored the proof that was given prior and called to cancel our insurance with them.
If discovery insure does not need our business that's fine but I will not let the matter be squashed just like that. I have taken this up with the ombudsman, who has asked me to request the rejection letter, cancellation letter and voice recording that was done when a forensic officer came to my home, proving we did comply and tried to assist, but ONCE AGAIN I AM BEING IGNORED.
