I upgraded my account to private banking about a month ago. This was done very quickly. I was assured that I would be contacted when my debit and cheque card were in branch for collection. I was contacted re a credit card and replied that I would contact them when im ready. I followed up with my "private banker" who then basically blamed me for my query. I Am very unhappy with the approach that she has taken acting on behalf of absa private bank.
I will be looking to move my portfolio to investec, as its clear absa is not serious about maintaining there private customer base
