I am dissapointed with Clicks and Metropolitan for misinforming people with one of their policies they sold people over 12-14 years ago. I was sold life policy by Clicks and underwritten by Metropolitan life. I was shocked last week when i received the sms stating the policy has been cancelled without my permission and knkowledge. Secondly the premims I have paid for the 14 years are far much thatn the payment paid in my account, as they claim it has been 10 years whereas I have paid prmiums for over 14 years.
My question is how can you sell the policy as life policy and put a term on it, as far as I know life policy run for as long as the policy holder is alive.
When I phoned Metroplitan i was given an insatisfactory reason and the person I spoke asked me if I want to change the policy to funeral cover.
