I called Outsurance 2 weks ago to request a quote on my vehicle, needless to say they were more than double my current insurer, The lady advised she will send a link to claim the R400.00 as advertised if they cannot beat your current insurer. Waited 2 days for link, surprise surprise, nothing arrived. Called again, spoke to another guy who advised my e-mail address was wrong and he will send to correct address, another couple days and still nothing. Called for the third time and was again informed my e-mail address was incorrect (strange after spelling and re-spelling to confirm) and insisted I hold on the line until I receive the e-mail link, after holding for a few minutes, still nothing and the guy said I should give it an hour, A week has gone pass from then and still no link to claim the R400.00. Reading responses from Outsurance to other disgruntled people on Hello Peter about mis-spelt e-mail addresses, I cannot help but think this is a and needs to be reported to the Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa.
