I was involved in a car accident on the 15th of Dec 2012 and reported the claim on the 18th of Dec. The consultant that I was dealing with in claims depart informed me that my car will be taken to the panel beaters on the 2nd of Jan should it be approved as most of the panel beaters have already closed. I had a courtesy car with my insurance and asked them to organize it for me as I was not sure if it was safe to drive my car. I went to collect it on the 20th of Dec and also on the same date they came to tow my car. Since my courtesy car was for 15 days I called my insurance to query what will happen if my days will be finished before my car is repaired, they told me that if it's not my fault that they delayed they will extend it. On the 31st of Dec claims consultant (Pjaart) called me to inform me that my claim was approved and said that unf the panel beaters will open on the 7th of Dec, since my days for the courtesy car are about to end, it is not their responsibility to extend my car days as they have assessed the claim in less than 10 days. I argued with him saying that it is also not my fault that the panel beaters are opening late
