I was playing soccer at the discovery soccer park at wanderers on Thursday the 30th of May. running at full pace with the ball, I was pushed off it by an opponent, it was a fair challenge but as a result went into the barrier and hit my face on one of the steel poles that support the net. This resulted in a broken tooth, cut lip and stiches in my chin. I also had to have x-rays done on my jaw to make sure it wasnt broken.
I have seen another incident of the same nature where another player was worse off than myself, and have heard of another incident where this occurred again within the last two months.
Please could you make sure that the poles are covered with a foam cushion or something similar as clearly this is an issue that has not only happened to me.
I would appreciate feedback as to whether or not this has been attended to.
