MR VAN ZYL WAS AT OUR PROPERTY AND INFORMED US WHAT THE PROBLEM IS WRT OUR INSURANCE CLAIM FOR OUR LEAKING BATHROOM ROOF WHICH ABSA REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE CLAIM AND DECLINED IT DUE TO DETERIORATION (STANDARD LETTER) ETC, HE ADVISED US ON SATURDAY 11 MAY THAT THE REPORT THAT HE WAS SENT AND OUR DAMAGED ROOF WHICH HE INSPECTED THAT DAY DOES NOT CORRESPOND AS TO WHAT THE ASSESSORS REPORTED, HE SAID HE WILL GET A CONTRACTOR TO ASSIST, UNTIL TODAY WE ARE AWAITING FOR THAT CONTRACTOR, I CALLED MR VAN ZYL LAST WEEK & THURSDAY AND HE SAID THE CONTRACTOR WILL CALL ME WITHIN HALF & HOUR, I'M STILL WAITING, I CALLED YESTERDAY 3 TIMES & LEFT 2 MESSAGES, NO RESPONSE YET, WITH THIS WEEKS HEAVY RAIN OUR BATHROOM WAS FLOODED, RAIN POURING DOWN OUR WALLS ONTO THE FLOOR & IT WAS DANGEROUS FOR US TO USE IT AS THE FLOOR WAS COMPLETELY WET, DO WE CONTINUE WAITING FOR A CONTRACTOR THAT WILL NEVER PITCH, DO WE WAIT FOR AN ABSA EMPLOYER WITH NO RISES VALUES OR DO WE JUST REPAIR THE D..N ROOF OURSELVES.
