Disappointed by service on credit card application

I was at the branch on Tues, 28th Jun to apply for credit card. I was pre-approved for a gold credit card with a limit of R11500. Neo advised also I was declined and reason was "score" due to having another Bluebean card on the system so he put a motivation through and confirmed feedback within 3 days. He advised the final limit will depend on the motivation and docs. Paylsip, ID and bank statements were given. I went this morning to the branch and was advised I was declined due to "score" - he confirmed which meant I had no transactional account with them and they could not confirm my debit orders. What is the aim of my bank statements? Does it mean because I have no transactional account I cannot get a credit card with Standard bank? That is ludicrous. I asked if I could not re-instate my closed Blue bean credit card, an application was done but now the SLA is up to 14 working days. It is shocking that something as simple as a re-instatement can take half a month to process and that is to know if it has been approved nogal. Further why could Neo have not done tis upfront before doing a new application, does he not know the process. Whole process has been a huge disappointment.
