In November last year I opened an Absa bank account, i was told that i would only pay R79 per month for bank fees. however after my 1st salary went into the account i noticed that i was paying more than R200 in bank charges. I went to them in April to have the account closed as i changed my account to Capitec bank. they refused to close it as they said that May months bank charges 1st need to be added before the account can be closed. after the charged went off the account was then in a negative and they still did not want to have the account closed. now its heading to June and obvoiusly more bank charges will be added. they just know how to make money off people!!
they are just adding more and more bank charges on a daily basis and i would like to have this account closed. it rediculous how they can rip people off.
