I am a "supposedly" premier banker with FNB but l must say their service is pathetic. I have my car finance, house bond, credit card and platinum cheque account with this bank but after the bad experience l have had with them the past 3 weeks it has made me wonder if l have to continue banking with them.

I applied for a credit card limit increase on the 13th of May 2013 at Northgate branch and up to now have not been informed of the outcome despite numerous calls and emails to the bank / call centre. On the FNB system the application is hanging with no status update and the personnel banker who assisted me Verona Singh escalated the query but up to now someone is sitting on the paperwork. This is unprofessional and would have appreciated being informed of the outcome instead of silent treatment.

Am thinking of packing my bags and move to Nedbank where l have opened a cheque account with no hassle at all.
