On the 14th of April 2013 I went to withdraw cash at the ATM at the Shell Service Station in Robertson. I wanted to withdraw R3000.00 with my FNB card. The ATM gave me a " We are experiencing technical dificulties" response. Because it has happened before, I then tried R1000.00, thinking that there might just not be enough money in ATM as it was a Sunday and a busy weekend. I got the same response. In other words not a cent of the R4000.00 came out of the machine. I got back to the car and my husband told me that I received in contact messages for the R4000.00 withdrawn. So the money went off my account but not a cent received. We the went to FNB branch and lodged a dispute, we are however still waiting for Standard Bank to refund the amount into my account. This is pathetic service!!! We have to wait for 6 to 8 weeks to get the money back even if it only took them seconds to "" it. I have never so disgusted in my life... And this is not the first time Standard Bank has done this. This is the worst service that I have ever seen, no wonder I will never bank with them!!! I want answers... and I want them quick!!!
