A COMEDY OF ERRORS

Having made two appointments with ABSA Northgate on Monday this week i took an afternoon off, collected my child early and arranged to meet my husband at the branch to firstly meet the business banker and then the personal banker to do a number of things. On route i received a number call say the business banker was on leave and no one else could help me. I went anyway to get my personal banking done. When we arrived we were told the personal banker running very late but we could wait which we did, sometime later we were told that someone else would see us. However when we explained what we needed she confirmed that wehad to see the banker we made an appointment with. We continued to wait. Then someone arrived with the forms they thought we needed andwebegan to complete them. The forms required a list of our direct debit which we had request four times. Our patience was exhausted at this stage and we asked to see the branch manager and guess what, it was 3:30 and she had gone home.
