OUTSURANCE DOES NOT PAY R400 FOR LOWER PREMIUM

REF NO. 2351886. ON 30 APRIL 2013, PHONED THE CALL CENTRE FOR QUOTE, SPOKE TO NTOMBI. AFTER APPROXIMATELY 20-25 MINS, SHE QUOTED A HIGHER PREMIUM THAN MY EXISTING POLICY. I ASKED IF I WOULD GET THE R400 THEY ADVERTISE SO EXTENSIVELY AND SHE SAID I WOULD HEAR FROM THEM.BY THE 3RD MAY, I HAD HEARD NOTHING, SO CALLED IN AGAIN AND SPOKE TO EMMANUEL. HE STARTING RE-EVALUATING THE QUOTATION AND AFTER ASKING ME MORE QUESTIONS (ANOTHER 10 - 15 MIN PHONE CALL), SAID THAT NTOMBI HAD NOT FACTORED CERTAIN ELEMENTS IN (E.G. SECURITY COMPLEX WITH 24/7 SECURITY/ELECTRIC FENCING). THE PREMIUM HE CAME UP WITH WAS STILL HIGHER THAN MY EXISTING POLICY. HE ASKED ME TO EMAIL HIM MY EXISTING POLICY, WHICH WOULD THEN BE REFERRED TO A MANAGER AND I COULD THEN EXPECT A REFUND AFTER VALIDATION OBVIOUSLY. I EMAILED HIM ON [Email Removed] ON THE 6TH MAY, ATTACHING MY EXISTING POLICY AND BANKING DETAILS.BY THE 16TH MAY, I HAD STILL HEARD NOTHING, SO FORWARDED THE MAIL TO EMMANUEL AGAIN, THREATENING TO REPORT ON HELLO PETER IF I HEARD NOTHING BY FRIDAY THE 17TH MAY.
