My Nissan Navara dci SE 4X4 double cab is financed with Absa Bank. Attached please find proof of my insurance. This is my second vehicle financed through Absa Bank and it will definitely be my last. My monthly premium that is paid by an approved and signed (by me) debit order suddenly on 02/05/2013 went from R7856.52 to an unapproved amount of R10816.99. According to your staff I was charged for Absa insurance as you have no proof of insurance even though I provided proof of insurance when I bought the vehicle. In December 2012 I went to Mozambique and requested a cross border letter for which I also had to provide proof of insurance which I did so you have no reason to ASSUME that I do not have insurance and charge me an extra R2960.47. Apparently a letter was posted to me asking for proof, this post was not registered post and for what ever reason I did not receive the letter. When signing the VF contract I clearly asked that all correspondence be done via email or cell phone, you have the necessary info to communicate as I requested. You have absolutely no right to deduct additional funds from my account without my permission! 8 days later and no refund!
