I am 1.5 months in arrears with my vehicle payment, and arrangements were made in April 2013 with a Mr J Du Preez that the finance agreement would be extended by 1 month to compensate the arrears. This was done verbally with Mr J Du Preez. Yesterday we got a threatening phone call from Mrs E Conradie advising me that my car is going to be repossessed and also reported due to the arrears payment and also due to the fact that they could not contact me.

If they were unable to contact me, how was I able to speak to Mr Du Preez?

I have about 4 months left on my vehicle to pay, so why would MFC want to repossess my vehicle? I think Mrs Conradie was extremely rude and threatening and do not appreciate it. Mrs Conradie said that we have until Monday 20th May 2013 to pay the arrears payment or else a debt collector would be collecting the vehicle. I do not think this is fair considering that arrangements were made with regards to this.

Please will someone contact me urgently with regards to this so that some form of agreement can be made.
