April 26 I applied for a tablet from FNB. April 30 details were confirmed on the phone. May 3 received SMS stating that for them to process and complete my order I need to fill in and return the debit order changing forms. Called them on Tuesday 7 May to follow up. Nothing had been done and they still requested debit order changing forms. They sent through an escalation on my request and told me within 2 working days they will contact me. Thursday 9 May 2013 I received another SMS requesting the debit order changing forms. I called them once again seeing as it was 2 business days after they said they would contact me. Another escalation was sent through and a request to stop the SMS messages. It was confirmed that my application had been approved and was handed over for delivery and they will contact me within 2 working days. Tuesday 14 May 2013 I contacted them again seeing as it was now the third working day without contact. Once again an escalation was sent through to follow up on my application. This time they could not see on the system if it had actually been approved. Another escalation was sent through to the department's team leader.
