We have a business cheque account with ABSA as well as various Vehicle Finance Contracts.

On various occasions during the last 2 years we have requested ABSA to change our mailing address from our accountants to our business address. We have to do the FICA verification every time we want to change the address.

For two months the statements will then be sent to the correct address, after which, somehow, this is changed back to the old INCORRECT address. It is very frustrating to go through this process for ALL our accounts every 3 months. We speak to different people every time, but nothing gets done.

If this is the level of service we receive from ABSA, it would be more beneficial to change to a bank who actually helps you instead of wasting time with their admin that you could have spent managing your business.
