Last year sometime I purchased medication from an online pharmacy that seemed to be legit. When I never received my order I started investigating. I soon realised that this was a company and informed Nedbank. They did a reversal of the charges and a dispute against the "merchant" was opened. Ref no:778661.
I provided Nedbank with all correspondence between myself and the.
This week I received a letter from Nedbank (8 months later) stating that there is "insufficient evidence" against the merchant and that the amount R1600 odd would be deducted from my account.
1) It was a VISA transaction (international bank) of which Nedbank is a partner.
2) If Nedbank can reverse the funds from the bank, why am I still to pay for items never received.
3) There are more than 30 online claims against these, yet the bank does not close or freeze their account.
4) where is the protection from our banks???
