Cash Deposit!!!

On 27/4 I deposited money using an atms as your banks were closed since it was public holiday. I used an atm machine with the envelopes & I thought the process would be quick. It is my understanding that the reason why these atms were created is so we don't have to spend too much time in queues & we're not restricted to making deposits during working hours. I went on twitter to enquire about this as the money I had deposited had not cleared, to which they replied that it takes 7 days for the money to clear, nevermind that it was a cash deposit. I went inside the branch to which a rude receptionist could offer no other explanation other than to say that I put my money in an envelope and that's why it is taking long. That is the silliest thing I've ever heard & that lady should be ashamed of herself! I am sure that she & all the other people who have been "helping" me were briefed as to the ins and outs of these cash accepting ATMS at inception, so I do not understand the stupid answers I've been getting. This is not the first time that I get bad service from Standard Bank. I will be moving my accounts at the end of June. I want my money!!!
