Client information given to third party

It came to my notice that my personal information was given out to lawyers collecting debt on behalf of the SABC. This was in regards to a TV licence that was cancelled in 2007. My stepdaughter's husband who is a co-signer on our house bond, was texted on his cell phone to inquire about the 'amount' owing. Only FNB knows that we are linked. I only remarried in 2010, and my previous surname was used when we applied for the bond. This name was given to my son-in-law when he called the attorneys to ask what the text msg was about. Ergo someone from the bond dept at FNB must have given out my info.
