I recently downloaded ABSA's Iphone Banking APP on my phone, thinking it would be loads easier than going onto my browser and logging on through there. When I tried logging onto the app it kept giving me an error message. I gave ABSA a call today to get some technical assistance and sort it out.
The lady I spoke to told me that i needed to log onto my internet banking to connect it. I canceled my online banking ages ago when i started using mobile banking. Why pay extra for something I never use? Now I'm told I cannot use a APP made for mobile phones to do my banking without having a online subscription. Why do I need to pay for online banking just to activate a mobile app? Why can this not be done through ABSA?
I find this extremely inconvenient.
