When purchasing a product, is it being unrealistic to expect the product to arrive in working condition?
Secondly if that product is broken then should you not be entitled to a replacement product or a refund?
I have purchased two products from South Africans online retailer [URL Removed] and on both occasions the products I have received have arrived (congrats for that) in a non working condition! When attempting to contact Groupon over email a have had responses from a kind gentleman named Support with the same reply
"Your SOS (#69) has been received, and is being scrutinised by our Customer Services department. All your enquiries will be seen to as soon as possible."
Well after the 3 or 8 unanswered emails I decided to call Groupon. On eventually getting through, I was informed that they will not be able to replace the product and will only be able to refund the purchase price.
Great! that is why I buy a product, so that it can be returned for a refund. After going through about 36 steps to refund the product I was cut off and never contacted again.
I still have the Blue-tooth device I purchases, it looks great as an ornament above the fire place.
